Senior QA Analyst

About the Role

Through this active project work, you’ll engage with a talented team of producers, developers, and designers in a scrum-based process. You will be responsible for manual testing across platforms, creating test cases and executing test scripts, and being knowledgeable about product requirements and functionality. This is a full-time remote contract position.

• Attend daily project standups
• Adapt requirements and user stories into test cases
• Create and maintain comprehensive test scripts for web and mobile products
• Verify feature and bug development completeness
• Create and execute manual test cases for mobile and web during sprints for releases
• Drive bug prioritization in collaboration with project teams
• Create organized bug reports in accordance with best practices
• Participate in sprint meetings as the face of QA for clients to prioritize issues
• Contribute to discussions about Small Planet’s approach to QA
• Help teammates understand best practices and process

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience within quality assurance discipline
• Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams on iterative projects
• Experience producing clear documentation of steps required for specific testing tasks
• Previous manual testing experience on Desktop, iOS, and Android projects
• Experience with TestRail
• Experience with Jira and Confluence
• Experience with Xcode and Android Studio
• Experience with browser development testing tools such as Browser Stack
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as Charles Proxy
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman
